I’m not a cook. I don’t take a lot of pleasure in cooking. It’s just not my ‘thing’. I have 2 kids and a husband so that equals cooking most days, 3 times a day, 24/7. Yes we do go out when I can’t stand to look at my kitchen anymore. So when I was contacted recently to try out some recipes, my first reaction was a definite “no thank you”.
But the recipes involved trying out new recipes with Hellman’s mayonnaise. I looked at the recipes and saw that some were vegetarian, gluten free, EASY and the kids could help. Oh and taste amazing!
Hellman’s mayonnaise is celebrating it’s 100th Birthday by releasing a variety of recipes – refreshed classics and a variety of new delicious recipes, all of which add unmistakable taste and texture to your foods.
From fish tacos and kale caesar salad to crepes and cupcakes (Hellmann’s is an excellent addition to baked goods!) the options really are boundless – Hellmann’s is extremely versatile and can be used in a number of unexpected ways.
We did try a few recipes. First we tried TRAIL MIX COOKIES. Good for you and quite tasty!
Next we made the Kale Caesar Salad with terrific tasting dressing using Hellman’s mayonnaise. Kale can be a bit bitter, but with the dressing you don’t notice this at all.
For a person who doesn’t love cooking, I must say using one great product like Hellman’s mayonnaise for a number of recipes, does make the task a wee bit easier and more enjoyable.
